Situated on the edge of the Kuka Hills, &Beyond Klein’s Camp consists of just ten intimate cottages made of local stone and makuti thatch, with rich wooden floors and classic interiors. Each cottage has an ensuite bathroom and private veranda with breath-taking views over the surrounding hills and the valley below. A diversity of resident wildlife, including huge elephant herds, can be viewed from everywhere in camp – even the kitchen boasts unforgettable views.
The camp has a large, beautifully furnished bar and sitting area, a sparkling swimming pool tucked into the hillside and a Safari Shop featuring locally-made Maasai crafts. Fresh vegetables picked from the camp’s shamba, or organic African garden, are used to create
wholesome dishes. Dinners are served in the main dining area, which is graced by a large open fireplace.

GUEST SAFETY
The camp is not fenced off and we request guests to be extremely vigilant at all times. Guests must be accompanied by &Beyond staff when walking around the camp at night.
ACCESS
A number of airlines operate scheduled flights from Arusha to Klein’s Airstrip each morning, followed by a leisurely one hour drive to camp, with game viewing en route

WEATHER: Temperatures are generally pleasant, with September to January the warmest months and July the coolest month

BEST TIME TO TRAVEL: There is excellent game viewing throughout the year. The best
time to see the Great Migration at Klein’s Camp is from June to December
MALARIA: The camp is situated in a malaria area and the necessary precautions should be taken
CURRENCY: US dollar bills printed prior to 2000 are not accepted in Kenya or Tanzania, as there was a large amount of illegal processing of dollar bills in East Africa during that time
POWER: 220v AC. Please note that the generator is generally switched off overnight; with prior notice we are able to provide 24-hour electricity for guests with special medical requirements
