Amaka Ranch was established by Private Individuals in the year 1977. This Wildlife Conservancy is located in Taita Taveta County in the Coast Province of Kenya.

The Tsavo Conservancy is built on the ongoing initiative of seven ranches (Amaka, Bachuma, Dawida, Kambanga, Rukinga, Taita and Wangalla) which puts 100,000 ha of land under improved conservation management. The tourism and other income activities initiated by the Tsavo Conservancy not only creates job opportunities but also diversifies income sources for many surrounding members of the community.
