Upon arrival at the International Airport of Kilimanjaro, you will be met by your Driver/Guide and be transferred to your accommodation for dinner and overnight. You will be based at Mount Meru Game Lodge in Arusha.

This morning after breakfast, we depart to Lake Manyara. Nestling at the base of the Great Rift Valley escarpment, the park is recognized for its incredible beauty. After breakfast you start on your way to Serengeti National Park with picnic lunches. On the way you will stop at the Olduvai Gorge where anthropologists Louis and Mary Leakey made many significant discoveries, contributing to the theory that human life originated in Africa. After stopping for your picnic lunch on a kopje (rock outcropping) in Serengeti you will continue further into the park and go on a game drive. Overnight at Serengeti Safari Camp

Today, you will have a full day of wildlife experience on game drives around Serengeti. Depending on the time of year and the migration of the herds you can expect to see wildebeest, lions, elephants, giraffes, zebras, monkeys, baboons, hippos, rhinos, antelopes and many birds and other species. Today you will have an opportunity for more wildlife experiences at your own pace. As well as being famous for its large herds of wildebeest and zebra, the Serengeti is a great place for spotting predators. Cheetahs are also regularly sighted, and if you are out and about early in the day, you may be lucky and spot a leopard, serval, or African wild cat. Overnight at Serengeti Safari Camp

Today after a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, we will depart with picnic lunches heading for the nearby Kogatende Airstrip for the afternoon scheduled flight to Kigali International Airport in Rwanda. Upon arrival, you will be met and transferred to your hotel. Dinner and Overnight at Kigali Serena

This morning, you will be picked form your hotel by our guide for a city tour of Kigali, taking in visits to the craft markets and the genocide memorial. Later in the afternoon, we will take our enjoyable scenic drive into the mountains as we transfer to your lodge located minutes away from the headquarters of Volcanoes National Park. Dinner and overnight at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge or Bisate Lodge or similar

Very early in the morning set off and transfer to the park to catch up with briefing and then head out for gorilla trekking in Volcano National Park. Normally it takes between 2 - 4 hours to encounter the mountain gorillas in the jungle. The park was established in 1925, after Mountain Gorillas were discovered for the very first time, and was the first ever national park in Africa. Now as then, few experiences match that of coming face to face with a mountain gorilla as it gnaws on bamboo shoots; in fact, it is probably one of Africa’s indisputable travel highlights. After the face to face experience with the mountain gorillas in the wilderness return to the lodge for lunch. Later in the evening, relax at the balcony of your room in the evening or visit the local community. Dinner and overnight at Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge or Bisate Lodge or similar
