Day 1,International flight - Antananarivo

On your arrival at Antananarivo, a reception agent of Mada Hexagone accommodates and assists you. Then, you are transferred to Sakamanga Hotel for the night. Overnight: Sakamanga Hotel (B)

Day 2,Antananarivo – Ranomafana

Early, breakfast finished and the luggage in the car, you will go to Ranomafana. Your first stop will be in Ambatolampy (68 km from the capital) to visit a factory of aluminum pots which are the base of the Malagasy kitchen utensils; because it is there that they are manufactured. After this visit, you take the road bordered by splendid landscapes made up of rice plantations in terraces and cultures, from 100Km, until Antsirabe. Called “Malagasy Vichy “, the water town makes you discover the stone gem cutting and the Malagasy craft industry in the area of the Vakinankaratra ethnos group: production of miniature bicycles and miniature rickshaws, the transformation of the zebu horn. The visit is finished, and your driver will drive you for 98 km of good paved road to the capital Ambositra Crafts Malagasy. Throughout the route, you will admire the tremendous work done to "make" this beautiful landscape of rice paddies and terraced fields. After visiting shops and craft workshops sculptors Ambositra, you will take the winding road lined with rice terraces, rivers, mountains, and cultures, to reach Ranomafana village where you will visit Ranomafana National Park. You will visit this Park early morning where you will discover the endemic fauna and flora, its lemurs, and the hot springs from which the village takes its name from Ranomafana. Day 3,Ranomafana

After breakfast, your driver will take you to the park office, where you will meet your National Park guide. Depending on your choice, the average circuit will take a minimum of two hours. Longer walks are available. Ranomafana (which means “hot water” in Malagasy) is doubtless one the most spectacular National Parks of Madagascar. The park contains twelve lemur species. Aside from the golden bamboo lemur, visitors can spot the eastern woolly lemur, red-bellied lemur, eastern grey bamboo lemur, greater bamboo lemur, red-fronted brown lemur, black-and-white ruffed lemur, and brown mouse lemur. Other mammals include 7 species of tenrecs, 8 bats, and 6 carnivores. Several of Madagascar’s birds can be found here which is recommended to the bird watcher. Overnight: Ihary Hotel (B/D)

Day 4,Ranomafana – Andringitra National Park

Today, you will go to Ambalavao. It will be from this small town that you will be devoted to the 45km of track that remains to be traveled before joining Andringitra National Park. You will meet your carrier, your cook, and your local guide for hiking. Overnight: in a camp (B /L /D)

Day 5,Encampment – Belambo (1st day on the trek)

Start for your first day of trekking in the mountains of Andringitra. Firstly, you will cross the village of Ambalamanandray, marking the beginning of your trek. You will end up at the foot of two beautiful sacred waterfalls and continue towards the cave of Jajofo, the former refuge of the dahalo (thieves of zebu) before arriving in the forest of Belambo where you will camp. Day 6,Campsite of Belambo – Morarano (2nd day on the trek)

Always on foot, entrance to Andringitra National Park and downhill on the western slope of the massif of the same name, in a mineral atmosphere. Along the way, discover several species of lizards and pachypodium, plants also called "elephant feet". Swimming is possible in the nearby river. With its surprising shapes of rock, lichens of all colors and mosses attached to the shrubs, this surprising landscape evokes a true lunar decoration! You gradually get through large slabs of granite and cross a forest of endemic palms altitude. It is at sunset that the light is the most beautiful on the great cliff of Tsaranoro. 800m of vertical! You admire these Granite Mountains and exceptional ocher valleys. Overnight: Tsara Camp Hotel (B/D) Walking hours: 6h The difference in altitude: +1000 m Difference in altitude: -400 m

Day 7,Tsara Camp Hotel – Isalo

The descent continues for some 218 km, appears gradually savanna, majestic rock, domes requires their presence, only nomadic herders zebu will across the plateau of Horombe with their huge herds of zebu. When the massif of Isalo ruiniform will start to be visible, you arrived at Ranohira. You will sit comfortably in your bungalow and will enjoy your dinner. Overnight: Motel De L’Isalo (B/D)

Day 8,Isalo

Over the next two days there will be an opportunity for the adventurous to trek through impressive canyons and along dramatic bluffs. Not to be missed is a walk along the Massif marveling at the stunning views and arriving late in the afternoon at a natural swimming pool known as 'La Piscine Naturelle' which is fed by a waterfall and fringed by swaying palm trees. A bathe here is a wonderful way to recover from the walk and freshen up. A wonderful way to finish the day is to watch the setting sun through "La Fenetre", a natural rock formation framing the setting sun! Overnight: Motel De L’Isalo (B/D)

Day 9,Isalo – Ifaty

Today, you will take the car for 243 km still for going on endless straight lines of the plateau Horombe. Crossing the little "boom town" of Ilakaka and that of Sakaraha, you will realize that this region has been a very active center for the extraction of sapphire and are now in decline. Baobabs and Aloes: new growth appears. Mahafaly tombs are remarkable: they are the only solid structures in the South. After you visit the Arboretum Antsokay, there are only 15 km to reach Tulear where you will do a city tour on arrival. Then, you have to do even last 26 km to reach the seaside resort of Ifaty and settle into your bungalow hotel by the sea, where you will also take your dinner. Overnight: Bamboo Club (B/D)

Day 10-11,Ifaty

You will enjoy the lagoon, clear water and warm white sand. We will have however provided a tour of the baobab forest. Also, you can do on extra other activities outside the hotel will be suggested: navigating an outrigger canoe with fishermen Vezo, snorkeling, quad, etc. Overnight: Bamboo Club (B/D)

Day 12,Ifaty - Flight Tuléar to Antananarivo

After you complete breakfast, you will return to the city of Tulear. Your driver will be with you until the airport of Tuléar where your airplane Air Madagascar is waiting for you to join Antananarivo. Arriving at the airport of the capital, you will be back in town for dinner and overnight at your hotel. Overnight: Sakamanga Hotel (B)

Day 13,Antananarivo city tour - Departure for the international flight

In the morning, you go to admire some landscapes in the western part of Antananarivo. You will discover Lemur' S Park; is a private park on the edge of the Katsaoka River. This park has a surface of 4 hectares and is located at 22Km from Antananarivo town. Here, you can observe nine species of lemurs, the sifaka coquereli (or «lemur dancer"). In the afternoon, you will be driven to the big traditional market because it is possible that you'll want to bring back some memories of Madagascar. You will find all gathered Malagasy crafts. When dinner is finished, you will take your international flight in the evening. Day use: Sakamanga Hotel (D)
